Cash loans for David
I first met the guy three or four years ago, at the beginning of summer, in one of the popular pubs in the city. I was sitting there with a friend when he saw his old friend, David, standing in the corner or the room, drinking beer, listening to the music. Martin approached him and asked him to sit with us. We started talking and it turned out that David was much younger that both of us. He was just about to start university in a city situated three hundred kilometres away from his hometown. He was very open and he explained straight away where is going to get the money from. He wanted to take out some student Cash loans that he would pay back later, when he finished university. I asked him if he was going to look for a job or something like that, but he answered that he was rather going to spend his time going to parties. ‘You know, you live only once", he said. I don"t know if he was really able to cover all his expenses: studies, course books, rent, parties, train tickets... after all, he surely visited his family from time to time? Anyway, the cash loans were definitely not enough. I never saw him again, and I hope his attitude has changed since that time, because to tell you the truth, he was a really naive and childish guy.
