Chasetown FC – Club Announcement

Peter Bailey19 Jan - 09:27

Chasetown FC wishes to inform supporters that, with immediate effect, new entry and conduct measures will apply to all home fixtures.

Supporters aged 16 years and under shall not be admitted to the ground unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

The accompanying adult must remain with the child at all times while within the ground and is fully responsible for the child’s supervision and welfare during their time on site. As Chasetown FC is a public venue - responsibility for children rests at all times with their parent or accompanying adult.

Any person aged 16 or under found unaccompanied within the ground, including where the accompanying adult has entered the ground and subsequently left, will be required to leave the premises immediately.

Staff reserve the right to request proof of age.

Chasetown FC operates a zero-tolerance approach to antisocial behaviour, excessive foul or abusive language, and any form of misconduct. Any individual failing to meet expected standards of behaviour, irrespective of age, may be removed from the ground.

Throwing any object onto, or encroaching onto the playing surface will result in immediate expulsion from the ground.

The Club wishes to offer its sincere apologies to the vast majority of young supporters who consistently conduct themselves in a positive and respectful manner. However, due to recent incidents, the Club has no alternative but to implement these measures.

Chasetown Football Club is proud of the work undertaken to ensure the club remains inclusive, safe, and welcoming for all. These measures are in place to protect those who wish to support Chasetown FC in a positive and respectful manner and to maintain an enjoyable matchday environment.
