Andrew Cox22 May 2017 - 21:00

Scholars turn to former Newcastle Town man...

Following a thorough recruitment process in the past week Chasetown Football Club are delighted to announce that SCOTT DUNDAS will be their new manager for the start of the 2017-18 season. Scott was selected ahead of a strong list of candidates.

Scott made his name in management guiding Norton United to two promotions in three years along with an appearance in the first round of the FA Cup. Scott also had short spells as Manager at Witton Albion and Alsager Town.

Last season in his first year at Newcastle Town he managed Newcastle to 7th place in our league, ending the season just 4 points off the play off places.

Scott has a strong track record and his ambitions match that of the club in building a squad to compete for promotion in the coming season.
