With a new manager now in place bringing fresh ideas and a clear vision for the future, changes within the squad this summer are both natural and expected. The club remains fully committed to building a strong long-term project and ensuring we continue moving forward both on and off the pitch.
Following our victory in the Walsall Senior Cup Final, it was important that the club’s full focus remained on ending the season positively before attention turned towards preparations for next year. As a result, discussions regarding the 2026/27 squad only began in recent weeks. In addition, players cannot officially be registered until July – these processes naturally take time.
We understand supporters are eager for news regarding player retention and new signings, and we can assure fans that a great deal of work is taking place behind the scenes. As progress continues, supporters will be the first to hear any confirmed news, and we look forward to sharing positive updates in the coming weeks.
We would also like to place on record our thanks to those managers, staff and players who have moved on from the club. Every individual who has worn the Chasetown FC shirt should be proud of their contribution, and they leave with our sincere thanks and best wishes for the future. For those who have left, the decision has been personal, while others are pursuing new opportunities or challenges elsewhere in the game.
The Northern Premier League West Division remains one of the most competitive leagues at this level of football, and we are determined to ensure the work taking place alongside our new management team matches the ambitions of the football club.
Alongside our squad planning, supporters can also look forward to further announcements away from the pitch. We will be confirming our season ticket prices shortly, which will once again represent exceptional value for money as we continue our commitment to making football affordable and accessible for our supporters. We are also excited to unveil an additional new kit for the 2026/27 season, which will complement our existing blue home kit and white away kit.
Our aim remains clear — to build the strongest squad possible, challenge at the top end of the division, and continue pushing Chasetown FC forward.
We thank supporters for their continued backing and look forward to updating you further over the coming weeks.
Enjoy the summer!
