Chris will be supported by Todd Perry, Leigh Bishop, Mike Richardson, and Tom Dodd, who will form a strong analysis and support team around the group.
Speaking on the appointment, Matt Witts, Head of the Chasetown FC Youth Development Programme said:
“I’m really pleased that Chris has agreed to lead our Under-18s. I believe we have the perfect person in place to coach and mentor this group as they progress through to the reserves and eventually Step 4 football with the First Team.
With everything Chris has achieved in the game—both on the pitch and more recently as part of our First Team coaching staff—this is a huge coup for our Youth Development Programme.
With the support of the other coaches, I truly believe our Under-18s group is in a strong position for real, meaningful player development.”
This appointment reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to building a clear pathway for young players to progress through the ranks and into senior football.
Best of luck to Chris and his squad for the season.
