This game is City’s third this preseason and their first away from home after a 1-0 defeat to National League outfit Tamworth and a 3-1 win over Lutterworth Town from the division below.
Past games between the two sides include a preseason game at The Trade Tyre Community stadium last July the 27th that Lichfield won 4-3. As well as Kirton current players for both sides that have pulled on the blue of Chasetown and Lichfield include Lewi Burnside and Josh Mansell. Scholars coach Kyle Patterson also captained Lichfield until his retirement the season before last.
