Almost immediately at the start of the second half, after several substitutions by both sides, City took the lead after a defensive mix up and Kyle Minto rolled the ball beyond an advancing John Bateman which trickled over the line.

Nick Wellecomme forced a corner from which Robinson again found the net, with a header, and this time the goal stood.

Nathan Waite was another half-time introduction and it was he who gave Chasetown the lead with a sweet finish from the corner of the penalty box which left Craig Johnson with no chance.

Mitchell McDonald set up Nick Wellecomme for a very good goal to make it 3-1 as the experience of the Northern Premier Division 1 side took over.
