The closing stages became increasingly physical, with a foul on Cater sparking a heated confrontation involving both teams. The referee opted to calm proceedings by issuing warnings before allowing play to resume.

Despite Chasetown's efforts to find a late equaliser, Redditch held on to secure the win.
