Their pressure could not produce a breakthrough, and Hednesford punished them on the counter in the 59th minute, winning possession before clinically finishing to extend the lead to 4-0.
Following the second-half hydration break, the game became more even in terms of possession, with Chasetown continuing to probe for a consolation.
Their best chance arrived in the 73rd minute when a well-struck volley drifted narrowly wide of the post.
Hednesford remained clinical in front of goal, adding a fifth in the 79th minute after capitalising on another opportunity before rounding off the scoring six minutes later.
A perfectly timed through ball sent their striker clear, who calmly rounded goalkeeper Pond and slotted home to complete the 6-0 victory.
Although the result was emphatic, Chasetown continued to battle throughout the contest and created a handful of promising moments, but Hednesford's efficiency from set-pieces and in transition ultimately proved the difference as they secured the pre-season win.
