Chasetown thoroughly deserved to be on level terms just short of the 70 minute mark when Sullivan netted in his sixth consecutive game with an unstoppable free kick beyond Ross Atkins.

Sullivan was a whisker away from netting a second free kick that flew beyond Atkins and just wide of the post. But, it was the hosts that stole victory in the final minute when Dales curled a low shot along the ground beyond Bateman to earn three points the home side barely deserved.
