Chasetown doubled their lead in the 20th minute when Nicky Turton seized on a pass from midfield and curled the ball beyond goalkeeper Danny Read.

Market Drayton reduced the arrears when Chase keeper John Bateman punched clear in a goalmouth scramble but was powerless to stop home skipper James Askey from netting.
