5th-placed Chasetown entertain 14th-placed Kidsgrove Athletic at the Scholars Ground this Saturday, 8th February, at 3pm.
The Opposition
The visitors are managed by club record goalscorer Anthony Malbon. The 33-year-old was appointed boss in March 2024 and has a Scholars Ground hat-trick to his name, scoring a treble in the October 2020 fixture.
Malbon's side have secured four away wins this season, picking up three points at Hednesford, Atherton, Hanley, and City of Liverpool.
Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi leads Kidsgrove’s goal-scoring chart for the season with 11 league goals (16 in all competitions).
Form Guide
After three league defeats in four games, Mark Swann's side have regained form over the past fortnight with back-to-back wins against City of Liverpool and Nantwich Town.
Last weekend, Kidsgrove suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Stafford Rangers. The Grove have managed just one win in six matches since the turn of the year, losing three.
Head to Head
Honours are even in the last six encounters, with both sides winning twice. However, the Scholars will be aiming for a third consecutive victory after winning the previous two meetings.
