Chasetown took the lead in the third minute. A long throw from Matt Wood was flicked on by Mitchell Piggon and James Dance hooked the ball over goalkeeper Mason Springthorpe.
On the half hour mark it was deja vu as Piggon flicked on another Wood throw in and Dance, on the turn, fired low past Springthorpe.
Three minutes before the break, Piggon nipped in ahead of the goalkeeper and his shot was cleared off the line by Andy Fitzgerald against Springthorpeās head but luckily over the crossbar for the Vics keeper.
In the 53rd minute, Northwich reduced the deficit with a long range effort from Simon Lakeland that flew over John Bateman from the wide edge of the penalty area.
Chasetown soaked up the pressure and a partially cleared effort fell to Dance who volleyed home his hat trick from just outside the six yard box.
The Scholars were reduced to ten men when keeper Bateman was sent off and Jamie Hinchcliffe converted the penalty past stand in keeper Dance.
