Great in attack but leaked goals costs Chasetown the points

Newcastle punished some defensive hesitancy from the visitors to record the three points.
Despite a promising start from the Scholars, Newcastle took the lead against the run of play as Joe Thomas tees up Lee Cropper and he fired past Curtis Pond.
Chasetown were immediately level with Jack Langston firing beyond Dave Parton.
Chasetown thought they had escaped going behind again as Newcastle struck the post and crossbar within seconds of each other but third time lucky James Askey made it 2-1.
Early in the second half, Rhys Thompson conceded a penalty and Cropper sent Pond the wrong way from the spot.
Matt Wood and Ryan Wynter went close to reducing the deficit but Newcastle stood firm.
