Chasetown left Coles Lane with a point when realistically they should have snatched all three.
The first half was one-way traffic towards the host’s goal.
A notable chance came half way through the second half when Jack Langston glanced a shot narrowly wide of the post.
Another chance of note came in the 34th minute when Connor Haddaway took a shot that blazed over the bar.
The second half was played at a sedate pace with there not being many chances to shout about.
The closest Chasetown came was a Jordan Evans free kick that struck the outside of the post.
In the 76th minute Langston had a shot that flew across the face of goal and went wide.
Chasetown were made favourites for the tie when home player Jordan Francis flew into a tackle from behind and was subsequently sent off.
It was not to be for Chasetown though as the full time whistle blew with the match ending 0-0.
