

Chasetown had a golden chance to take the lead with Garfield Robinson teeing up Nick Turton with keeper Connor McCarthy on the floor but the chance was blocked by Gavin Hurren.
Lichfield had the better of the first half chances and Tony Clarke had a shot which dribbled past goalkeeper Curtis Pond but also wide of the upright.
At the start of the second half the home side took the lead following a goalmouth scramble and full back Jon Huckfield netted from close range.
Substitute Stan Mugisha headed on target before Ryan Wynter acrobatically volleyed goalwards as the visitors tried to force an equaliser but it was the hosts who progressed at the expense of last year's beaten finalists.
