Leek deservedly earned the right to play either Brighouse or Workington in the FA Trophy with a 2-0 win over the Scholars.
The hosts started the brighter and fired a couple of shots wide of the Chasetown goal before eventually taking the lead just short of the half hour. Lewis Short broke into the visitors penalty area and squared it to Tim Grice who tapped it home from 6 yards.
Chances were mainly for the hosts but it took into the second half for leek to extend their led. Robert Stevenson raced onto a forward pass and lifted the ball over the advancing Curtis Pond.
Leek keeper Danny Roberts was relatively untroubled - the closest Chasetown came to pulling a goal back was a George Cater near post effort that was hacked off the line by a defender.
A Jack Langston effort over the bar and a Will Whieldon free kick which Roberts held on to were the best Chasetown could muster in the second period.
