The 25-year-old centre-back arrives with an impressive footballing pedigree, having developed through the Aston Villa Academy before going on to represent Northern Ireland at Under-19 level.

Patterson has built a strong reputation in non-league football through spells with several highly respected clubs, including Alvechurch, Bromsgrove Sporting, Stratford Town and Evesham United. Having consistently performed at a level, he brings valuable experience, defensive quality and leadership to the squad.

Comfortable on the ball and strong defensively, Patterson's experience of competing for ambitious clubs with high standards will add further strength to Dickinson's defensive options ahead of the new season.

Speaking on the signing, Dickinson said:
